It's amazing when two images of the same geographical area are combined. These vessels were a part of "Sail Virginia" which ended up in downtown Norfolk this past summer. The sky is courtesy of one of Norfolk's more dramatic sunsets which was photographed in the spring of this same year. I normally do not composite images like this but wanted to see what a dramatic sky would do to complement these beautiful boats. This image looks great on a 20 x 30 canvas. I have the Baltimore and Virginia framed at my studio in d'Art Center@ the Selden Arcade in downtown Norfolk. | |||||||
